Fine Loetz Art Nouveau Rare Pink Mimosa Rosa Art Glass Vase

Here we have a very nice piece of art nouveau glass from loetz. I bought this about 20 years ago before this pattern was documented. After doing a little research I found out it was an unusual example of mimosa in the rosa colour way. The vase is beautifully executed with a good iridescence. It is in very good condition with no scratches chips etc.

There is one slight issue. In production there apears to be a heat fracture hidden behind the applied handle on one side. This must have been done when the handle annealed at a different rate. The fracture is very fine & measures about an inch. It is noticeable when you look down into the neck of the vase but not from the outside, in fact I don't think it comes all the way through. It's a shame it's not 100% but it must have been good enough to pass the quality control at loetz (or it made it out the back door). Anyway this is a beautiful and rare example which would grace any collection of fine loetz. Thanks for looking & good luck.
